About Bowie Lacrosse

Bowie Boys and Girls Club Girls Lacrosse is the oldest girls lacrosse program in Prince George's County, Maryland, competing in the Anne Arundel Girls Lacrosse Organization (AAGLO) since 2005. The program's home field at Whitemarsh Park in Bowie features the first turf field lined for girls lacrosse in the county.

The club offers four divisions. Sticklettes for K through 2nd grade play 6v6 in a skill-building format during April and May. Pee Wee for 3rd and 4th graders plays 8v8 with no checking and unrecorded scores across 12 scheduled games. Middies for 5th and 6th graders move to full 12v12 with modified checking and three competitive divisions. Juniors for 7th and 8th graders play 12v12 with full checking, a 10-game regular season, and playoffs.

All coaches are certified active volunteers, and the program offers clinics and instruction from club and high school programs throughout the year. Two to three weekly practices are required depending on age group, with the spring season beginning in April.
