About Charlotte Ultimate Lacrosse

📍 Charlotte Ultimate Lacrosse is part of the Ultimate Goal Lacrosse organization and serves as the 📍 Charlotte-area program for girls lacrosse in North Carolina.

The club offers a tiered pathway from recreational play through nationally competitive Elite teams, making it accessible to players at every commitment level.

Programs include recreational lacrosse through the North Carolina Recreational Lacrosse Association (NCRLA), a Mini Club option with a shorter travel schedule, Select teams at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels, Premier teams that compete in NGLL Regional competitions, and Elite teams that participate in events like the IWLCA Capital Cup and NXT Continental Cup.

A specialized partnership with Dodge City Lacrosse provides additional weekly training sessions focused on dodging, footwork, and creating space.

The coaching staff includes full-time directors led by Regional Director Katie McMahon Gates, with a dedicated Senior Director of College Recruiting in Katy O'Mara, a former UNC defensive coordinator who founded Carolina Fever and helped place over 140 players into college programs.

The club reports sending more players to play college lacrosse from North Carolina than any other program in recent years.

📍 Charlotte Ultimate serves players from elementary school through high school across graduation years 2027 to 2034.
